STORMSHIELD survival kits are designed and built by a former Royal Marines Commando, Pilot and Survival Instructor to be the best, most detailed and comprehensive survival kits in the world.
The approach to my kits is simple.
I assume someone is isolated in an unforgiving or hostile environment.

My role is to assemble the kit that keeps them alive until extraction is possible, or they can safely extract themselves.

At STORMSHIELD, I created my survival kits to raise the standard in an industry flooded with cheap, poorly designed alternatives. After years of searching for reliable options and finding none that met the level of quality and practicality I expected, I decided to design my own.
With 14 years of military experience, alongside work as a survival instructor and pilot, I understand first-hand the importance of dependable equipment in critical situations. That experience shaped every aspect of my kits - from the materials we choose to the level of detail in every pack.
My kits are built to be durable, practical, and genuinely high quality. Every product is assembled with care, precision, and pride because this is more than just a business to me. My goal is for every customer to feel complete confidence in both their purchase and their preparedness, knowing they have equipment they can truly rely on when it matters most.
I create 2 kits. OVERWATCH and FORTRESS.
Both kits are built to the same premium standard.
The only difference between each is the size.
OVERWATCH is compact, built to fit anywhere and enough to protect one person.
FORTRESS is slightly bigger, enabling space for more equipment and enough to protect two people.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER
My name is Josh and I served for 8 years as a Royal Marines Commando, later serving in the Royal Air Force as an Air and Space Operations Specialist for 6 years.
I have worked in many unforgiving environments and I have always taken a great interest in self preparedness and survival.
Since leaving the military in 2025 I now dedicate my time to helping other people realise the importance of being equipped and ready for any situation, enabling this through my work as a bushcraft and survival instructor and building my survival kits.
I also have a deep passion for conservation and the protection of nature, serving as a Ranger for multiple woodlands and organising many litter picks across our beautiful countryside.
I would like people to know that when they purchase my product, it is my mission to ensure that you have full confidence in me to deliver far beyond what you would expect a great service to be.
